New amateur radio club in the areaThe South Central Nebraska Amateur Radio Club is the name selected by the new area club. Preparations are underway to get the Constitution and Bylaws written and inventorying the needs of the members of the group to get people on the air. The group will meet monthly to start and the officers are as follows:President- Curtis Tostie (KD0CWX) Vice-President- Jim Johnson (KD0CWW) Secretary- Pat Gerdes (KA0SGL) Treasurer- Myron Bennett (KD0OX) The group is also holding weekly nets on Sunday evenings at 7:00 P.M. They alternate between the Oxford (146.715) and Holdrege (146.895) Repeaters.
