Duties and Responsibilities:

To re-establish or perpetuate all lost exterior section and quarter corners that were established by the original government survey, as needed and requested by the county and or public
To monument and provide witness ties for said Gov. corners and protect the Gov. corners from destruction either by construction, maintenance or public travel
To maintain, review and file all surveys made in the county
To establish section lines and county road right-of-way lines for county or township roadway improvements
To provide legal descriptions for roadway easements, right-of-ways and roadway vacations requested by the county or township boards
